This question is a general one, not pro- or anti- any particular candidate. Just wondering how a town-owned building can be used for a partisan political appearance? Shouldn't a town building, funded by taxpayers and providing town services, remain neutral ground?

If all candidates are given the same opportunity, neutrality exists.

The mission of the Wellesley Free Library is to serve as a community gathering place and gateway to ideas for residents of all ages and interests by providing free access to information. As such, the Library’s rental policy permits groups, including political campaigns, to rent space as long as the events are free and open to the public. We welcome events such as these, regardless of political affiliation, to further public discourse and education.

@Anne Devoe I do think the town is providing town services by allowing access to all types of meetings in our public facilities. That is one of the reasons we build public buildings isn't it? It is possible that the other campaign didn't ask.

E W is a fraud. Where has she been for the last several years while SCOTT BROWN has been effectively representing the citizens of MA?. Sen. SCOTT BROWN has proven to have the ability to "cross the aisle" when best for MA and the USA. Sen. SCOTT BROWN has proven that he is no lock step party follower. E W is a lock step Democrat who will follow orders from the likes of Obama, Reid, and Pelosi.
Vote for someone who will effectively represent MA. Vote for Independent Sen. SCOTT BROWN.
