Driver in Quebrada Crash Likely to Be Cited, Police Say
A 61-year-old female crashed through the wall of the popular Wellesley Hills bakery yesterday.
Police anticipate at least one citation to be filed against the driver who crashed through Quebrada’s front window Sunday, causing damage to the store's seating area and a refrigerator.
Lt. Jack Pilecki of the Wellesley Police Department said the driver, a 61-year-old female, will likely be cited with “failure to use care and caution while starting” in the Sunday morning crash. The driver told police she stepped on the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal.
The incident is still under investigation, according to Pilecki.
