David Schachter, 54, of 2020 Elmwood Ave., Providence was arrested in Wellesley last week on warrant-related charges after he was pulled over for illegal passing.

Schachter, who was driving on Route 9 eastbound Aug. 31, passed an officer on routine patrol in the area and neither “slowed down nor moved to the left,” according to Wellesley Police records clerk Sue Wicklund.

The officer pulled Schachter over and learned there was a warrant out for Schachter’s arrest for motor vehicle offenses.
