Each morning, Wellesley Patch presents “5 Things You Need to Know,” a collection of announcements, events, reminders and odd little ditties to help you organize your day.

1. Beauty Couture spa at 873 Worcester St. (Route 9) is hosting a grand opening event today from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

2. The Board of Selectmen reiterated last night that the parishioners at St. James The Great Church have asked that the town refer to the property as 900 Worcester St. The board had mentioned this at prior meetings.

3. Also last night, town counsel Al Robinson repeated his opinion on the land transaction and added that despite an ACLU examination, the pending deal is legal.

4. And finally, Selectwoman Katherine Babson last night presented the schedule of public meetings lined up to detail the property transaction at 900 Worcester St. 

5. The School Committee will meet tonight to discuss a draft policy on teen pregnancy in Wellesley Schools among other issues.
