What's going on today in Needham and Wellesley? A little history, a long night, and a holiday concert.

3. If you're feeling particularly festive this holiday season, then join the Christ Episcopal Church for their Liturgy of the Longest Night Service. They anticipate it being a quiet, reflective service. It starts at 7 p.m. 

4. Vita Needle is known for its commitment to working seniors, and a panel will be taking that topic up at the Needham Free Public Library. The panel Retirement on the Line: Age, Work and Value in an American Factory starts at 7 p.m.

5.At 7:15 p.m. tonight, Waterstone at Wellesley is ringing in the holidays with their own holiday concert, featuring Rick Walsh. This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required--call 781-235-1614 for more info and to reserve a seat.
