Amarin of Thailand of Wellesley joined Friends of Boston’s Homeless on Thursday, April 26, for the organization’s 25^th annual Beyond Shelter gala. The event welcomed 700 guests to the House of Blues for tastings by 20 of the area’s top chefs, including Hamersley’s Bistro, Eastern Standard, Island Creek Oyster Bar, Ashmont Grill, Dante and Red Lantern, and a surprise performance by Jackson Browne. Since its founding in 1987 by John Rosenthal, Friends of Boston’s Homeless has raised more than $20 million, transitioned thousands out of homelessness permanently, and dramatically increased their programs and services.
